This wall hanging shows three distinct types of carving and each has a meaning.

| Hei-Matau are often seen as good luck charms especially if the wearer is traveling over water. |
The single twist amulet shows the joining together of two people for eternity. |
The koru represents the fern frond as it opens bringing new life and purity to the world. |
I used a variegated Signature range thread for the machine blanket stitch.
