You can easily make several variations of the bag.
You can put one, two, three, four or six pockets on the outside of the bag and then on the inside there are instructions for a zippered pocket and another pocket that can be divided into two or three compartments.
To make the bag firm but soft I used .5m of
bag batting. A new product for me and excellent to work with.
What started me off was this wonderful thick cotton handbag print fabric which went perfectly with the
80% cotton/20% linen natural coloured fabric. I still have some in the
handbag rust colourway if you want to make your bag a little brighter.
Then the mega spots in the
Puppy Park range looked fabulous for a more funky look....
and then I just had to try out my
koru templates to add a bit of NZ to the bag which looks great with the
NZ koru batik toast fabric.
