My friend, Susan, returned from the Houston Show last year raving about these new seam rippers.

My shipment arrived just before Christmas and finally I have had time to play with it.  They are rather like a man's razer.  You place your fabric with the seam you want to rip out, on a firm surface or even pin it to the ironing board.  Hold your top layer and 'peel' it back as you cut the stitches.  It works a treat!
