An innovative acrylic patchwork template of a N Z Pukeko designed by Carol of Carols Quilts and made in New Zealand.
The mother Pukeko is 7½" tall and the baby 4" tall.
This picture of a wall hanging, is the pattern which is included in the package.
The NZ Pukeko is a bird with heaps of character, it is known as a swamp hen outside NZ.
The templates have the long legs that Pukekos are known for and the baby is a very different shape, as they are in real life.
A lot of time was spent watching Pukekos to get this set realistic.
Note: the template for the 4″ Kiwi is not included in the package, it is part of the Kiwi Family set.
