When I saw Zelda's bag at Calico Christmas last year I admired her texture magic panel (shrinking fabric) and when she said she had designed it herself, I wanted the pattern for all you other bagaholics as well!






















So, finally, a new bag pattern has been born.  It was fun to make, with easy- to-follow instructions and best of all?  The bag handle can be removed easily and used on another version of the bag.  How's that for economical!

Bag size: 13 ¾"(35cm) square, plus of course the handle.

The bag is fully lined with an internal pocket.

If you don't wish to use the shrinking fabric you could use another fabric or a part of a panel, perhaps a lonely pieced block could be cut down to fit or you may have a stitchery that needs a new home.  Use you imagination and the bag becomes truly yours.
