How's this for a marvellous piece of fabric!
I've sourced this fabric from an Australian manufacturer (so it's fair dinkum!) and although I have never been to the outback - this certainly looks authentic if I compare it to all the Aussie movies I've seen about the Murray River and more.

Delicious outback colours of grey/green, hot dustry ochres, murky blue water and splashes of rust, red and grey.
The pattern drop is 21" wide x 12" deep (53cm x 31cm).
I can envisage this as a panel piece in the middle of a quilt with pieced blocks around the border. Sort of like a large medallion quilt.
100% quality cotton fabric.
